It was fantastic to meet with Joe from Bookshelf Burns yesterday at the Alkrington Village Craft Market to present my 2023 Heywood & Middleton Small Business Award.

Great way to kick off the morning by stopping by Bamford Barista for a coffee and presenting one of my Heywood & Middleton Small Business awards!

With Christmas only 3 weeks away, it was a smashing time at the Heywood Christmas lights switch on last month.

Smashing time at the Norden and St Georges's Christmas Fairs this past weekend! Thank you to the organisers for all your hard work.

Today's World Diabetes Day and I'm proud to support the Blue Balloon Challenge.

The campaign raises awareness of what it's like living with diabetes - a constant balancing act. It's like doing everything in your daily life while keeping a balloon in the air.

We will never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our values and way of life. We pause to reflect on their bravery and honour their memory.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

Always happy to support the Industry and Parliament Trust's Poppy Ride to fundraise for the Royal British Legion.

Yesterday I honoured the brave men and women who've defended and continue to defend our freedoms by planting a stake in the Constituency Garden of Remembrance.
